Pennyland (in development)

Tensions run high in this remote corner of Europe, as the battle lines are drawn between tradition, ecology, globalisation and survival.

Muck, Eigg, Rum and Canna are tiny islands off Scotland’s west coast routinely battered by Atlantic storms. The few inhabitants of these Inner Hebrides islands make a living farming sheep, cattle and salmon. These islands may seem to be a wild and romantic haven from the intense pressures of modern life. But they face a battle as modern as it gets, as multinationals, environmentalists, landowners and islanders fight for dominance on these idyllic isles.
